Day 1)
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:30 AM, and taken to the Ceasa port where our speed boat will be waiting for you.
Optional Amazon Inspiration Tour:
At this point of the tour, we have an optional activity available to go swimming with the river dolphins in the water. After we will move downstream to visit the indigenous people, where they will do a small ceremony to show their traditional culture which they kept until this day.
Then the normal program resumes, we will take you to visit a small floating village (Xiborena). Here you will have the opportunity to play with the arapaima giant fish, one of the biggest scale fresh water fish, also known as pirarucu in our local dialect. After you will go to see the meeting of the rivers where the Amazon and Rio Negro meet together. You will have photos and some explanation about it.
Then we move to Careiro village, where our van with a driver will be taking you for about 2 hours to the meeting point with our house boat which we will take deeper into the Amazon tributary Rio Madeirinha. Along the way you will stop to see the giant water lilies.
You arrive in the house boat, with accommodations in private cabine with AC, shower and toilet inside. The house boat will move to one of the beautiful spots where we start our afternoon activities. In the mean time our tropical regional amazonian food will be served for lunch. In the afternoon we will go on a small boat for piranha fishing and dolphins spotting. When it gets dark we will go caiman spotting and return to the house boat for dinner and start to move Itaúba village at night.
Day 2)
Let’s go explore the area by small boat, to see different types of birds. After we come for breakfast. We move while you have your delicious breakfast, to another spot where, we will go for jungle hike. In the jungle you learn about our biodiversity of flora and fauna of the region and the magical medicinal plants. Hike normally is about 2,5 to 3 hours. We come back to the boat for lunch and relax a bit. Depending the season we go for a paddle in the afternoon, in the flooded forest or (Igarapes) or along the river. Igarapas are small creeks. In the jungle we will do some wildlife spotting, like monkeys and others wildlife. We wait until it gets dark, to go to nocturnal wildlife spotting. Sometimes we see snakes and others. Back for dinner and move to other areas with the house boat for overnight.
Day 3)
We leave by motorized canoe to see the sunrise and return for breakfast. We go to visit a Caboclo family, where you will learn about their culture and how they get their food day by day. You will learn how they use their own medical plants that they have around their garden. After we go back to the boat to have lunch. In the afternoon, then canoeing in search of monkeys. Return for dinner and overnight.
Day 4)
Breakfast, then we go for another walk in the floodplain, where you will get an idea of the Terra Firma and the Floodplain. At the time of the flood, it is all under water. We search for more wildlife and return for lunch. In the afternoon we leave for a night in the Amazon rainforest, where you will be able to hear the sounds of the Amazon rainforest and feel our rainforest closer. Arriving in the forest we prepare our dinner on the fire. We use our leaf and spoon dishes using nature’s resources.
Day 5)
Breakfast in the jungle. After a short walk to explore the area, we return to the boat for lunch. After lunch we start the return trip to Manaus, arriving at your hotel in the city at 17h.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Light clothing, bathing suit, sun hat
- Long sleeved shirt, long trousers and rain coat
- Closed shoes for jungle trek and sandals
- Insect repellent and sun screen
- Shampoo, soap and others products personal hygienic.
- Plastic bag to protect camera and valuables
- Battery charger for camera and adapter for Brazilian power outlets
- Binoculars and flashlight
- Avoid black and red clothing as they attract mosquitoes
- Maximum weight to take to the jungle 10kg per person
- Currency – It is a good idea to bring some of the local currency as it is sometimes difficult to find a Brazilian ATM that will accept your debit/credit card
- Water – Carry a bottle of water with you at all times. It is a very hot and humid climate.
- Vaccinations – Talk to your doctor about vaccinations required for Brazil. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required to enter the country.
- Malaria – Yes, this is an endemic area for malaria. Talk to your doctor about what you should be taking

If you, or any person that you are travelling with, is forced to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Once we have received your notification in writing your cancellation is effective, until this time it is not.
In order to cover any costs incurred by your cancellation, as we may be unable to resell your holiday, or the services that we have put in place costs and cancellation fees will be charged as follows: For cancellations made prior to 70 days of departure, 90% of all payments will be refunded. For cancellations made between 69 to 40 days of departure, 50% of the any payment will be refunded. Purchase Travelers Insurance if you are concerned about this possibility.
Once the tour has started, no refunds will be given for unused service. In case you give up the tour before the end, we will not give a refund!
If there is any damages caused by you in the accommodations,with the mosquito nets, hammock or in the dinning room, you will be charged with a fee!
